Interior Design Style Quiz
Take this free interior design style quiz to explore the rooms, colors and materials you prefer. Get your style mix and practical starting points, with no email or sign-up.
Which room feels most like you?
Choose by instinct. Ignore the room size and focus on how it feels.
Make the next decision easier

Start with rooms you would live in
Choose the room that feels closest to home, then narrow down the palette, materials and details. The picture choices use existing room examples, not an AI image generated for you.

Give your preferences a useful name
Your answers point toward one or more of six design styles. Mid-century preferences, for example, can give you a starting point in warmer wood and distinctive furniture shapes. The result is a guide, not a fixed label.

Make room for a second influence
You do not have to choose one style for every object. A secondary direction can explain why you like a quieter room but still want a patterned rug or a collected accent.

Your questions, answered
Is this an interior design style quiz with no email required?
Yes. You can answer all five questions and see the full result without an email address or account. There is no email gate before the style notes download.
What interior design styles can I get?
The six directions are Japandi, mid-century modern, bohemian, Scandinavian, modern and traditional. Your result also shows a secondary influence when your answers support it.
How is the result calculated?
The quiz uses fixed preference points. The first room choice adds four points to one style; the remaining answers add points to one or more related directions. The highest total comes first. Equal scores use the displayed style order, and the result notes a tie.
Are the percentages a confidence score?
No. They show each style’s share of the preference points from your answers. They are not a scientific assessment, a probability or a measure of how accurately a room has been analyzed.
Can I change my answers or take it again?
Yes. Use Back while answering, Edit answers from the result, or Start again to clear your choices. A page refresh also clears the quiz state.
Can I try the result on a photo of my room?
The result links to the separate AI interior design tool with your leading style selected. That tool requires a room photo and follows the existing sign-in and credit rules. This free quiz itself does not generate or edit images.
