Terms of Service
The terms and conditions for using Spaceora.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Spaceora, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of Service
Spaceora redesigns a space from a photograph you upload. You give us a photo of a room, a property listing or a yard, choose a direction, and we return a generated image of the same space with different contents. Garden work also returns a planting list derived from the hardiness zone of the location you give us.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
Your Photos
The photos you upload stay yours. Uploading does not transfer ownership of anything to us.
To run the service we need your permission to handle them, so by uploading a photo you grant us a limited licence to store it, transmit it to the image provider that performs the generation, and process it for the purpose of producing your result and supporting your account. That licence exists to run the service and for nothing else: we do not publish your photos, and we do not put them in any shared or public pool. What the image provider does with a photo on its own side is governed by that provider's terms; see our privacy policy for what leaves us and why.
You are responsible for what you upload. By uploading a photo you confirm that you own it or are permitted to use it for this purpose, and that generating from it does not infringe anyone's rights. This matters most for photographs taken by someone else — a listing photo shot by a hired photographer is often owned by the photographer, not by the agency.
What You Generate
Images you generate with Spaceora belong to you. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial use — marketing a property, client work, printed material, social media, or as part of a service you sell to your own clients.
This is true on every plan, including the free one. Paid plans differ by how many images you can generate, at what resolution, and whether the output carries our watermark. They do not differ in what you are allowed to do with the result.
Two limits, and they are the only two:
- Free-plan images carry a watermark. You may use them commercially, but you may not remove or obscure the watermark. Paid plans produce images without one.
- We cannot grant rights we do not have. A generated image derives from the photo you supplied. If you did not have the right to use that photo, generating from it does not create one.
We claim no ownership of your results and require no credit or attribution.
What the Service Does Not Do
Being explicit about this is fairer than letting you find out later.
- It is not structural, engineering or landscaping advice. Grading, drainage, retaining walls and anything else structural belong to a professional who has stood in the space.
- It is not a survey. Dimensions come from what you type, not from measuring your photograph.
- Planting lists are suggestions, not a guarantee. Species are filtered by hardiness zone, which is one factor among soil, light, drainage, local regulation and care. Plants die for reasons a zone map cannot see.
- Generated images are illustrations, not representations of fact. If you publish one in connection with a property, you are responsible for making clear that it is a digitally staged or redesigned image. Many jurisdictions and listing platforms require that disclosure, and some restrict certain kinds of alteration to property photographs. Complying with the rules that apply to you is your responsibility.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload photographs you have no right to use, or generate images that infringe the rights of any party.
- Upload photographs of people, or generate content depicting identifiable individuals, without their consent.
- Misrepresent a generated image as an unaltered photograph where doing so would mislead a buyer, tenant, client or regulator.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
Credits, Plans and Billing
The service runs on credits. One generation costs ten credits, on every plan. A new account receives a one-time grant of thirty credits — three generations — which is a lifetime allowance and does not reset monthly.
Paid plans are billed in advance for the selected period and add a monthly credit allowance. Yearly plans are billed once for twelve months. Plans are described in full, with current prices, on our pricing page.
When a generation fails, times out, or is cancelled before it completes, the credits are returned to your balance automatically.
If a payment fails, your account keeps working while the payment provider retries. If those retries are exhausted, the subscription ends and the plan allowance stops.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not refund the current period, and you keep your remaining allowance until the period ends.
We handle refund requests case by case. Write to us at the address below and tell us what happened.
Our Intellectual Property
Spaceora itself — the site, the software, our name, our logo and our original content — is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms gives you rights in the service itself.
This section covers the service. It does not cover the images you generate with it, which are dealt with above under What You Generate.
Availability and Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is. Generation depends on a third-party image provider, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular result, or a particular processing time. Typical generation takes roughly 30 to 60 seconds; that is a description, not a commitment.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
